Always a nice meal! Excellent food for every course and really friendly staff tend to your every need. I really like the ambience too!

We had a wonderful meal here. The menu was large, the food was delicious, the portions were big and the staff were welcoming and helpful. We'd highly recommend this place. The only slight downside was that the pizza oven was off when we visited so no pizzas, but there was plenty more on the menu to choose from.

Whilst in Leven, we were looking for a place to have a bar lunch. We noticed Base, but we weren't that fussy for a pizza or pasta but went in anyway. To our surprise, they have a full menu, I ordered the large fish and chips, and my wife ordered the small mac and cheese with lattes. The lattes came out soon afterwards, and finally, an establishment that serves hot lattes, well done! There is nothing worse than luke warm coffee. Then the food came out, excellent, no complaints whatsoever the fish was perfectly cooked, the chips were really nice, the mac and cheese the same, well done chef! Although the mac and cheese was the small portion, it was still a good-sized plate full, more than enough for lunch. The servers were polite, prompt, and well presented. The eating area, although not the largest, was thoughtfully set out so as to not feel cramped. The toilets were very clean, well done, the person who looks after these. There are free car parks around the corner and down behind the High Street a short 5 minute walk away. There is on street parking outside, but this is time limited and is patrolled by Fife Council Parking Attendants, so keep an eye out. I can highly recommend eating here, we were lucky to be able to walk in and get a table, but it would be better to book in advance to guarantee a table, especially if there are four or more eating.

Best balmoral chicken i've ever had Husband had the meat on pizza after having leftovers of it of someone else's and thinking about it all week!! He also had to take a goodie bag home!

Popped in for dinner on Sunday night. First time we've been here for a few years and were delighted with the quality! The menu has plenty of variety to suit all tastes. Waitresses were attentive and friendly. It was a busy service but they were always on hand for anything we needed. Had the Hawaiian pizza for main and chocolate brownie for dessert. Both very tasty! Others had the Calzone and cheesecake, both of which also received praise. All in all a great wee place. We definitely won't leave it so long before visiting again. Really good!!

Returned here after a few years for our anniversary, the food was fresh and really nice. Fast service and very reasonably priced.
